Well, I've made my train reservation to see this exhibit - finally! Poetry Out Loud has held me back due to rescheduling regionals on the weekends.
I would love to speak with the curators personally, if possible, but that might be difficulty (and presumptuous? ) so here's a link to a podcast of an interview with them on The Morgan Library page. It's streaming at the top, just click play to hear it:
Interview with Austen Curators
Also, I have suddenly had the urge to take a fencing class. Am I channeling Colonel Brandon now, in addition to Marianne?
Maryland has a fencing club, believe it or not, and it looks like if I went through them I'd be considered a 'veteran' fencer (age 40 and up)!
There's one in Baltimore, much closer: Chesapeake Fencing Club. Hmm. Very tempting.

FYI - I was a competitive fencer from age 9 through college and happy to give you a couple lessons re: the basics :) -- Holly

Holly, I had no idea. Very cool. I'd love to learn some basics. I'm really thinking about it. I would at least give it a few sessions to see how I like it.
